Each year President Township Volunteer Fire Department (PTVFD) applies for a grant from the Office Of The State Fire Commissioner (OSFC).
In 2009 PTVFD was awarded a grant allowing the purchase of heavy rescue tools.
After demos from 2 manufacturer representatives and careful consideration PTVFD purchased through GENESIS RESCUE SYSTEMS a MACH - III Outlaw Simo Pump, Genesis-C160 Cutter, and a Genesis S50 Spreader.
The MACH - III Outlaw Simo Pump offers 2 (two) tool simultaneous use. It also has 2 (two) separate pumping circuits that operate independently. With a patented overdrive that allows one tool to be operated at twice the speed.

The Genesis - C160 cutter weighs 30lbs and produces 110,000lbs of cutting force giving one of the highest strength to weight ratios. It is equipped with a rotating handle allowing the cutter to be used in any position.

The Genesis S50 Spreader weighs 44lbs and is equipped with a "D" handle which is collapsible. The tips allow for 3 different angles and are wider to reduce tearing during spreading.
